Mohamed Salah Extends Statement to Liverpool Dressing Room, Discloses Curtis Jones
Curtis Jones has revealed that the Egyptian forward expressed regret to the team after the controversy from his televised remarks.

Salah was left out from a key Champions League match after voicing frustrations and suggesting his rapport with Arne Slot had broken down.
“He speaks for himself and he can say his own stuff,” the midfielder said. “He apologised to us and was like: ‘If my words hurt anyone, I apologise.’”
The head coach has previously declined to comment publicly on whether he received a personal apology from the veteran striker.
Looking Ahead
Jones insisted that the dressing room atmosphere remained positive. “Nothing about him changed, he had a big smile on his face and it was business as usual,” Jones added.
The midfielder also noted that a teammate fighting for a place is preferable. “I understand there are specific approaches you can express yourself,” he said. “Yet, should someone be happy to just sit out, then I think that’s concerning.”
Team Form
Their results have stayed unbeaten in the period after the initial controversy. Jones believes the outburst were never meant to cause disruption.
“In moments of frustration, it’s always been from a place of caring,” the midfielder stated. “That chapter is closed and we’re uniting strongly, getting results and securing victories.”
