Fresh Particulars Come to Light About the Location of the Bodies of Rob and Michele Reiner Remains

Recent details have emerged about the tragic demises of renowned director Rob Reiner and artist Michele Singer Reiner, whose remains were located at their residence home on Sunday.

The Discovery

According to a report referencing a family associate, a massage therapist scheduled for an session first raised the alarm after failing to get inside the home. This individual then reached out to the couple's daughter, Romy Reiner, who resides nearby.

Upon entering the home, Romy found her father's body. It is said she then fled the house in anguish, without knowing at that moment that her mother's body was also present. Another individual who had gone with her promptly called 911. Subsequently, emergency responders discovered Michele Singer Reiner's body.

Legal Proceedings

The police have formally accused the couple's 32-year-old son, Nick Reiner, with two counts of first-degree murder, as well as the alleged use of a deadly weapon, reportedly a knife. He is presently in custody without bail.

Correcting the Record

The anonymous source challenged several earlier details. It was stated that while Romy Reiner told first responders that her brother Nick resided in a guesthouse on the estate, she did not name him as a potential suspect at that time.

Additionally disputed published claims that Rob and Michele Singer Reiner had been especially "concerned" about Nick's conduct in the preceding period. Instead the family was "familiar with working through [Nick's] problems together."

This correction applies to accounts of alleged "erratic" behavior by Nick at a party held by Conan O'Brien the evening prior to the tragedy. While the source said they were unable to confirm whether Rob had "chastised" his son at the party, they asserted that reports of a "heated argument" between the two were untrue.

Ongoing Inquiry Details

Per law enforcement officials, the coroner had not yet established at that point whether the Reiners died late on Saturday or on Sunday. Some media reports noted the state of their bodies implied they had been dead for a period of time.

Nick Reiner was apprehended at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Sunday in the Exposition Park, roughly 15 miles from the residence. He was scheduled to be arraigned on Tuesday, but his lawyer, Alan Jackson, indicated his client had a medical issue and would not be present until Wednesday at the earliest.
