Football Analyst Sutton Battles Singer Murs in Premier League Predictions
Arsenal's 10-game victorious run came to an end by the Black Cats prior to the global break, however will the English top division frontrunners recover against north London rivals Tottenham this weekend?
"{I feel like Arsenal are light years ahead of Tottenham at the moment but Spurs manager Thomas Frank will have a plan for this match," remarked soccer specialist Chris Sutton.
"The Spurs manager will try to neutralize Arsenal, who have not always been at their sparkling finest this campaign - but Mikel Arteta's side usually still find a way to win."
Sutton is forecasting results for all 380 Premier League games this season, against AI, fans and a range of guests.
For week 12, he faces singer Olly Murs, who is a United fan.
The singer's new record, Knees Up, is available on Friday.
Football and Family Life
Murs is a skilled soccer player as well as a accomplished singer and has been a featured player of multiple Soccer Aid games over time - but he is not planning a professional return as a player.
"{I actually played in a charity game the other evening for a friend of mine," he explained. "My side was trailing 3-1 when I was substituted in the 60th minute, and they went on to win 4-3, so you can read into that what you want!
"I continue to love football, but I hurt my joint a few years ago and it still isn't where I want it to be. I hope I could play more but the uncertainty of the game means it's too risky for me in my profession to do it seriously again.
"Additionally I am forty-one now, and we are not everyone is Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very content not playing football and I am preparing for the moment that my child or boy decides to play instead."
Murs and his spouse Amelia Tank have two children, their daughter and Albert, and he is ready to emulate his dad by taking on the role of their coach.
"I won't force football on our children but I've previously told Amelia that if they happen to get the bug for it then I will have to go and get my coaching badges - and I will probably be coaching their weekend soccer team," he said.
"I observed my nephews play a lot, and I really got into it, and I obviously was involved with a football club for a period too.
"My dad coached with us when I was a kid, which is probably where I get it from. He coached our side for two or three years and had great fun with it. That might be the next step for me as well, and I am looking forward to it!"

- Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT
Chelsea may have to wait a bit longer for their star's return from injury but their offense is now stronger with Pedro and Liam Delap both back fit.
I still think this fixture will be fairly tight, however. Burnley are disciplined and their sole home defeats so far have been against the Reds and the Gunners.
It smells of a one-all draw to me, but I am in fact going to go with Chelsea to edge it for what would be their third consecutive league win in a row.
The expert's prediction: 1-2
Olly's prediction: The Blues will be superior. 1-3
Artificial intelligence's outlook: 0-2
- Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT
Bournemouth have lost their past two matches - albeit both of them were away - but they got absolutely spanked by Aston Villa last time out which shocked me.
In contrast, West Ham secured two in a row before the international break and, although both of those games were at home, they do look strong again.
The Hammers' sole on the road victory this campaign came at Nottingham Forest in August, when their boss Nuno Espirito Santo was still that team's coach.
Therefore, what exactly do I go with here - will it be West Ham continuing their run under Nuno, or the home side bouncing back?
I am going to choose the Cherries, because I think what occurred against Villa was a blip.
The pundit's prediction: 2-0
Olly's outlook: The home team are doing well but the visitors have picked up under Nuno. 2-2
AI's pick: 1-1
- Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT
Brentford were considered one of the frontrunners for relegation before the campaign started, but they have surprised a few people under Keith Andrews and are in fine fettle with three wins in their last four matches.
My son advised me to select Bees forward Thiago in my Fantasy Football team a few weeks ago and, unfortunately, I didn't listen.
Thiago will probably find the net again on the weekend but I am still not going to pick him or support the away side at Amex Stadium.
The Bees have not had much fortune on the road this term, and Brighton are always decent at home. The visitors will attempt to hit them on the counter-attack but I feel the home manager's team carry much more of a threat.
Sutton's prediction: 2-1
The singer's view: This could be a match where you expect there is going to be a lot of scores but it in reality proves to be quite close. 1-1
The computer's prediction: 2-1
- Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT
This is a huge fixture for the Cottagers, who have suffered defeat in five of their last six games.
They have have lots of quality in their team but it still seems like they could be sucked into a relegation fight.
Regarding the Black Cats, well they are the unexpected success of the Premier League campaign so far.
The away side's performance in the 2-2 draw with Arsenal last time out was excellent. We have not seen anyone else disrupt the Gunners like that this term, and Sunderland were fully competitive for them.
The sensible thing would be to support the Black Cats here, because they are obviously able of disrupting the hosts up too and, the previous occasion they were in west London, they defeated Chelsea at the close of last month.
However I am not do that. Instead, I truly need to carry on going against Sunderland with my predictions. I am claiming a lot of credit for their positive outcomes because they evidently enjoy to defy my predictions.
Looking at Fulham's at Craven Cottage form, the only team they have been defeated by is the league leaders. Their manager's team will be extremely desperate for a positive outcome, so I am going to predict they will pick up three points.
The expert's forecast: 1-0
The guest's prediction: I'm aware the visitors are doing well and additionally that Fulham are on a poor streak... but they have nonetheless been decent at home this campaign. 2-0
The algorithm's prediction: 2-0
- Anfield, 15:00 GMT
This is a hard fixture to call. The Reds have suffered seven of their last ten games in all competitions, but could they be among the teams who profit from the {international break|
