Barcelona Presents No Pressure for Loaned Forward Marcus Rashford
Marcus Rashford states that he finds not a single thing at Barcelona as "a pressure" and is enjoying a "fresh dialect of football" as he continues to thrive following his switch from Manchester United.
"I don't see anything here as stressful. It's just, I'm here to play football," Rashford told reporters.
The 28-year-old England forward moved to the Spanish club on a temporary transfer in the offseason after a challenging period at Old Trafford, which featured a latter part of last season spent on loan at Aston Villa.
Stellar Start in Spanish Football
His switch to La Liga has been a resounding success thus far, with the player netting six goals and providing eight assists in twenty-one outings.
"It's been incredible. I feel welcome. I've just been enjoying every step of the way," the footballer remarked.
Adopting a New Culture
Rashford, who disclosed that Barcelona were his "favorite club outside of England" during his youth, said he is making an effort to immerse himself in the lifestyle while residing in the Catalan capital.
"It is distinct, but it's a great learning curve for me," he commented. "And even little things, picking up the language and learning the culture, it's all enjoyable for me."
Career Revival and Long-Term Prospects
After scoring 138 goals in 426 matches for United and winning five significant honors, Rashford lost his place at his childhood team. This led to a short-term move to Aston Villa before his initial loan to Barca in July.
His outstanding temporary stint at Villa Park attracted attention of England manager Thomas Tuchel, enabling him to win back his place in the national squad.
Barcelona, the record La Liga champions, hold an option to sign Rashford on a full transfer for £30.3m in 2026. Rashford has previously expressed his desire to remain.

His display in a recent two-one Champions League victory, where he was substituted on and provided an key pass, earned accolades from the local press.
With Barcelona leading the league, Rashford's goal for the remainder of the season is "to win trophies."
"This is a team that demands this," he concluded. "The atmosphere is always driving us to be the finest players we can be, so it's ideal to be in a place like this."
