In a bizarre partnership that defies conventional expectations, Ubisoft has announced an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing free extra story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Adventure Disclosed
According to the formal announcement, "An unusual meeting draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where rumors of banned rituals and fearsome transformations reverberate through the shadows." The plot presents a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a secret group.
The questline concentrates on "bizarre trials and a monstrous adversary" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Familiar Places and Transformations
The trailer features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview finishes with a dramatic sequence showing a character, probably the captive, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Unique Rewards and Bonus Material
Players who successfully complete the quest will receive an exclusive katana alongside multiple items hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
